Here is a uterine horn and ovary.
Clamps are placed above and below the ovary to prevent bleeding.

The vessles are ligated (tied) and one ovary is removed.
|

The process is repeated on the second ovary.
|
|
Here, both ovaries are out. You can see the Y shape of the uterus. The cervix is the whitish area near the skin.

|
Clamps are placed above the cervix and it too is ligated. At this point the total uterus, horns, and ovaries are removed.
