Siamese cats are among the most recognizable of the cat breeds. Their long, svelte bodies with dark ear tips, feet, face and tail are well established. The crossed eyes and kinked tails that once were accepted breed characteristics are now considered to be major faults. The head is long with slanting blue eyes and a fine muzzle.
This, the most "chatty" of the cat breeds, originated in Thailand over 500 years ago where they were revered by Buddhist monks. It came to America around 1850.
The typical Siamese cat will weigh between 6 and 12 pounds and show a lot of energy and curiosity. The accepted colors for the short, fine coat are: Chocolate Point, Lilac Point, Seal Point and Blue Point.
We are pleased to welcome Snow White to our practice!
