Dinky is an All-American Mixed Breed!
Studies have shown that mixed breed dogs tend to be average in size and have short hair; but we can see that Dinky has long hair and is smaller than the average puppy of his age, so he'll probably be smaller than average and have long hair. (So much for the studies and their averages. Huh?)
"Mother Nature" tends to breed for sturdiness, intelligence, playfulness, ability to co-exist with other pets and people and longevity, so we can expect Dinky to be healthy and sturdy. His loving family intends for him to live indoors, so that shouldn't be any concern.
All young dogs do best with plenty of mental and physical stimulation – every day! This will help to prevent them from getting themselves into trouble. We encourage obedience lessons for all young dogs to help them to learn what is - and isn't - acceptible in the human society. Dr. Baker is currently offering "Puppy Hours" and her next is on Mon, May 19.
