Maisy is a Golden Retriever!

The Golden is everybody's friend! They are known for their willingness to work and train with their human companion. The males may weigh up to 75 pounds and the females around 65. They stand about 22 to 25 inches tall with long, wavy hair.

This sporting dog is an extremely active dog that was bred to carry heavy game over long distances. It needs a lot of exercise and challenging mental stimulation - or it will get itself into trouble! It does best when engaged with regular training and retrieving. The heavy coat needs regular grooming.

Goldens need plenty of exercise and human companionship, in addition to training to prevent mischief! They are prone to overweight and have hearty appetites!
