Samantha is a Miniature Dachshund!

These bold little dogs were originally bred in Germany during the 16th century to dig their way into burrows, and hunt badgers. They still love to hunt and dig, however, this active little dog does best as an indoor dog with access to a yard.

They can have smooth, long or a “rough” coat, but the originals were smooth. They love to play, are independent and are good with the children in its’ own family.

The small size of the Miniature Dachshund makes it a good choice for smaller homes with limited spaces.
