Bandit is an All-American Mixed Breed! Studies have shown that mixed breed dogs tend to be average in size; but Bandit has some Chihuahua in his bloodlines, so he'll probably be smaller than average.
"Mother Nature" tends to breed for sturdiness, intelligence, playfulness, ability to co-exist with other pets and people and longevity, so we can expect Bandit to be healthy and sturdy. His short haired coat indicates that he won't need a great deal of grooming or special care; and his loving family intends for him to live indoors, so that shouldn't be any concern.
Bandit has the distinction of being adopted from a Prisoner Rehabilition Program where he and his inmate-trainer lived together while he was taught manners and some obedience commands. Yearly checkups, dental care and routine vaccinations should keep Bandit healthy for years.
