Riley is a Shetland Sheepdog!
Shelties originated in Scotland and share ancestry with the Collie and Border Collie. They were later refined on the Shetland Islands to herd smaller animals, such as ponies, sheep and chickens.
This is one of the world's most popular dogs! They are bright, sensitive, eager to please, and devoted to their family.
With its' high energy level, it needs opportunities for exercise and thrives on obedience training. The heavy coat needs brushing every other day to keep it mat-free. They average 14"-16" tall and weigh around 20 pounds.
