Gus is a Yellow Labrador Retriever!
Labs are intelligent, short-coated retrievers, and can have brown, black or "yellow" coats. The breed originated in Canada as a helper for fishermen.
Today they are involved in agility, obedience, confirmation, drug detection, hunting and guide dogs. Most of them love the water. Labs do have a tendency to gain weight and need regular exercise.
