Timber is a Siberian Husky!
The Siberian Husky was developed by the Chukchi people of northeast Asia to pull sleds and today dominates the All-Alaska Sled Race. A team of these dogs is credited with saving the town of Nome, Alaska in 1925 by carrying a supply of serum over 340 miles to treat an outbreak of Diphtheria.
This clever, powerful breed can be independent and stubborn. Because of its' active nature, endurance and heavy coat, it needs lots of daily exercise and bi-weekly combing.
We are pleased to welcome Timber to our practice!
