Dr. Bob was born and raised in Elmwood, Il. He graduated from Bradley with a BA in 1963 and a DVM degree from the University of Illinois in 1967. He then served an internship in medicine and surgery and obtained a Master's degree in Comparative Pathology from the University of California in 1970.

Returning to Peoria in 1971, he established and operated Whitney Veterinary Clinic at the Forrest Hill and University intersection, which was sold and is now All Pets Veterinary Hospital. He designed and built Whitney Veterinary Hospital on Sheridan Road in 1985 and has recently remodeled the property next door for our new Whitney Cat Care Clinic, which opened in April of 2005.

His primary interests include orthopedic, soft tissue, back/neck surgery and cytology (cellular identification of disease processes).

He is available for surgery and referral cases four mornings per week.
